Blog Stalker

So, I have a set of blogs of which I check regularly and when I say regularly, I mean like 3 or 4 times a day. It's like Christmas or something when one of my favorite blogs has a new post. I get really anxious when I can't be at my computer all day and have to wait until I get home to read my "stories". All of the blogs I have linked here on the right are just a part of the ones I check everyday. I have a whole slew of blogs I have bookmarked that I have found through other friends or have just stumbled upon and are interesting and fun to read. These people (for the most part) have no idea that I read about their lives on a daily basis. I feel kinda like a blog stalker in that way- not in a creepy sense. I just enjoy reading about what other people have to say. I also get super annoyed when my favorite blogs aren't updated regularly- it's like when the writers strike happened and The Office was put on hold. I find myself worrying about what is happening to Michael or Jim or Pam and look forward to when I will know again. Same with the blogs. Patience never really was a characteristic of mine.

I have no idea if I have any blog stalkers. I'd like to think that I do. That somewhere out there, someone is interested in what I have to say or in what stupid thing I decide to write about. To them, if there are any of you out there, I am sorry that it has been 15 days since my last post. I promise to do better and to be more consistent. I have been sick/busy/unimaginative for the past couple weeks and just didn't know what to write. Call it writer's block, I guess. But the blog WILL continue- the stories must go on.

To get a dose of Angie everyday try here (it is far less exciting though).

I have been stalking blogs for a few years now, and I love it. I was hooked on this one in particular and when she shut it down I was hurt, like I'd just lost a friend. I had never met her, never commented, but I always checked it. Does that sound weird?

I'm stalking you right now.

I enjoy reading your blogs and have them on my RSS feeder in my inbox. It tells me when ever you update. It's great to have as I too enjoy reading a bunch of blogs and would take too much time clicking through them all. Found your blog through linkup. Keep on blogging and hope you feel better.

Well I must admit that I am one of your blog stalkers, at least lately anyway! Seriously, at work I probably check your blog at least three times!

Your even listed on my blog page as someone I'm stalking. I was laughing when I read your blog today- b/c it validated my tendancies to read other people's blogs every day. Seriously, why don't these people post more often I think? Oh, maybe they have a life (unlike me). :)

I believe the technical term for a blog stalker is a:

Blurker

1. noun. One who reads many blogs but leaves no evidence of themselves such as comments behind; a silent observer of blogs.

My mom taught me this. She is a blogger extraordinaire.

I think more blog stalkers should leave comments on the blogs they stalk. I think it would make said blogger feel better about themselves... in a 6 Stages of Kevin Bacon kind of way.

I only blurk a few people, and you get to be one of them.

I would suggest this blog to blurk in the future, it will be good times. http://princesstalulah.blogspot.com/

My sister in law just shut down her blog because she caught an obsessive blurker on her statcounter. They were getting a little freaky and she asked them via blog to let her know who they are and they wouldn't-- so that was that and she now has an anonymous blog. Maybe more people should just comment and say "hey, I am not a freak, I just think you're interesting."

I am actually quite flattered to be blurked at all. Now I have more people to blurk on as well (I don't think I am using that correctly).

Is blog stalking like how I sit outside your bedroom window at night in my windowless van with binoculars? If so, I fully support blog stalking.

Personally? I wish you'd write less. I've got stuff to do, y'know.

I'm glad you broke that 15 day streak, I'm not one to talk though.

I had never heard of blurking, I do that all the time... I am, however, a huge fan of cyber stalking in any form. Do you remember the last time I saw you (Fudd's in Orem with Jessie)?? One of your first questions to me was, "how did you find me?" Cyber stalking... it's the best... :)
