So my computer is still not working. I don't like blogging from my phone, but I don't have much of an option.
I wanted to write about our trip a few weekends ago. Nathaniel surprised me (just 'cause) and flew me to Seattle. He had it all planned out. We stayed in the Westin hotel on the 41st floor, wandered the city, tried to see the king tut exhibit (it was sold out) and then he took me to Wicked! We had wanted to see it in SLC but with him traveling back and forth it just didn't happen. I am so lucky to have such a thoughtful husband. We had a great weekend.
We still only see each other on weekends, but Nathaniel was home for the entire past week for thanksgiving. I loved having him home (as did batman) and tonight we say goodbye again for another week. Sigh. It looks like it's only another week and a half of this and then he should be home for at least a month. We will know soon whether they get the Portland job. I am not sure what I want anymore. All I know is I want us living in the same place- I don't really care where.
We had a relaxing thanksgiving. We went to the Grand America buffet and it was wonderful. My parents and brother and his wife went with us. It was so great to not have to cook or clean up. We didn't have leftovers but it really didn't matter. I hope we do it every year. Oh! And we just happened to be seated next to one of my best friends Aliah and her boyfriend and his family. What a wonderful surprise.
I got a new dress for thanksgiving that I love and I would post a picture but I feel so fat right now. I need to start running again!! Maybe this week.
Here are some pictures of our Seattle trip. We had sushi at this restaurant that used a conveyer belt and you could choose what you wanted. It was really fun.
